Mokena Launches New Mass Notification System
Residents can sign up for the mass notification system for delivery of messages via text, email, fax and voice.
MOKENA, IL — The Mokena village board recently approved an agreement with the Will County Emergency Telephone System board, which will allow the village to utilize its mass notification system for delivery of messages to Mokena residents via text, email, fax and voice. The village said the new notification system is positioned as a supplement to the village’s existing digital newsletter, Mokena e-News.
Residents or anyone else interested in receiving notifications can sign up for free by clicking on
the “Community Alerts” button on the Village of Mokena’s website. Affirmative sign-up is required to receive notifications. The village said notifications will not be received without sign-up.
