Mokena Library Holds Art Contest

MOKENA, IL — The Mokena Community Public Library District will hold an art contest for Lincoln-Way area artists. The library said there will be four winners and their art will be purchased for $250 and put on display in the library.

Art must be submitted between April 25 and April 26. The art will then be displayed from April 27 to May 3 in the library and then in the Art Galleria on May 4 from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

According to the library, all artwork must be original pieces. Entries can be paintings, photography, graphic design, digital media, pencil drawings or sculptures. For more rules of the contest, visit the library website.
