Mokena Man Charged in Frankfort Graffiti Incident

Police arrested 20-year-old Christopher Nadasky and a juvenile in the case of graffiti found in downtown Frankfort last month.

FRANKFORT, IL - A 20-year-old man and 17-year-old juvenile were arrested over the weekend in connection with the reported graffiti incident at Prairie Park in downtown Frankfort last month.

Frankfort police charged Christopher Nadasky, 20, of Mokena and the 17-year-old after both allegedly admitted to their involvement in the Prairie Park incident in which graffiti was found on the park’s fishing dock, surrounding signage and asphalt walking trail on Feb. 11.

Police said Nadasky was also charged in connection with an unrelated retail theft at the Mariano’s at 21001 S. Lagrange Road in Frankfort. He is also suspected of etching graffiti into a Mariano’s washroom mirror but would not admit to that crime, according to police.

Police were led to the 17-year-old - who they say lives near Prairie Park - while investigating Nadasky for the Mariano’s incident.
