Mokena Named One of Chicago's Most Pet Friendly Suburbs
If your dog loves it here, real estate blog Movoto doesn't blame them.

Mokena has gone to the dogs.
In a recent article by real estate blog Movoto, the town has been named one of the top 10 most pet friendly Chicago suburbs.
“Movoto” reviewed over 100 suburbs to compile their ranking and included factors such as pet stores per capita and pet services per capita. Mokena comes in at number 9.

“When it comes to keeping your pet healthy, it’s hard to beat Lemont. This beautiful little village is packed full of veterinary offices like State Street Animal Hospital, Archer Veterinary Clinic, and the Animal Care Center, just to name a few.
It’s also not a bad place to keep your pet happy, with nine pet services, ranging from groomers to pet sitters. There’s even Ludwig’s Feed Store for those of you with horses, chickens, pigs, goats… they basically cover everyone here.”
