Mokena Recognizes Most Beautiful Homes and Businesses

Some of Mokena's most beautiful homes and businesses got their recognition last week by being named one of the Mokena Community Affairs Commission's Beautification Awards Program winners.

The award dates back to 1997. Award winners received a certificate of appreciation from Mayor Joe Werner and a sign to display on their lawn. Any homeowner recognized three consecutive years will receives a "Lifetime" Beautification Award.
