Mokena Village Clean-up Event Set, Volunteers Needed
The cleanup event is set for Saturday, April 11. Volunteers will work in several locations throughout Mokena.
MOKENA, IL — The Village of Mokena’s Annual Clean-Up Day has been scheduled for Saturday, April 11, and volunteers are needed to help out.
Clean-up activities are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon, and lunch will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at Village Hall.
Everyone is invited to assist in the clean-up. Meet at Village Hall, 11004 Carpenter St. shortly before 9 a.m., and don't forget work gloves.

Students can receive community service hours for their contributions.
At noon, volunteers will return to Village Hall for hot dogs, chips, and a beverage.
