The park district has reopened its courts, playgrounds, sports fields, dog park and disc golf course, among others.
MOKENA, IL — With changing guidelines and restrictions, it can be difficult to know what exactly is open and what is closed. At Mokena Community Park District, several amenities have now reopened as of June 30.
The park district shared information on its Facebook page about what amenities and facilities it has opened, and details can be found below:
Playgrounds

Courts and Outdoor Amenities

Tennis, pickleball, outdoor basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, the skate park, disc golf course, the dog park, community gardens, trails and open green space are open.
Sports Fields
Fields are available for practices, drills and games. Users must reserve the field through the park district.
The Oaks Recreation & Fitness Center
The facility reopened June 29. Open gym and the walking track are available to members only.
