Post-Thanksgiving Workday Planned At Hickory Creek Preserve
Attendees should dress for outdoor work and the weather. Wear long pants, closed-toe shoes and work gloves.
MOKENA, IL — If you're looking to get outside after Thanksgiving, you can head out to the volunteer workday at Hickory Creek Preserve - La Porte Road access Saturday, Nov. 30. The workday will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.
The preserve said the purpose of this workday is brush control. Attendees should dress for outdoor work and the weather. Wear long pants, closed-toe shoes and work gloves.
