Help Identify Thief Who Nabbed Wallet From Speedway

FRANKFORT, IL - Frankfort police are seeking a man accused of stealing a wallet from a business on La Grange Road. The police department shared a surveillance image of the suspected crook in a social media alert last week.

The man shown in the image is believed to have taken the wallet from the Speedway gas station in the 22300 block of South La Grange Road at 5:44 p.m. on Sept. 12, according to police. The suspect was wearing a short sleeve flannel shirt and blue jeans at the time of the theft.

Police said the man was seen leaving the business in a silver of white Mustang convertible. Damage was observed on the front bumper of the car before it drove off.
