St. Mary's Catholic School Families Reunite, Refocus and Reconnect
St. Mary Catholic School students start the 2017-2018 school year off with the annual events in Mokena.
St. Mary Catholic School students start the 2017-2018 school year off with the annual Back to School Skate and Backpack Blessing. Both events allowed families of all grades, 3 year old preschool through eighth grade, to connect after the summer and refocus on the school year ahead.
Students, with backpacks in hand, received a special blessing from Rev. Dindo Billote, pastor, and St. Mary’s Church parishioners during a special Back-to-School Mass on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017.
In addition to the blessing, St. Mary’s School families also joined in the fun of the school’s annual Back to School Skate in front of the school on Friday, Aug. 25.
