Townhome Development Approved In Mokena

MOKENA, IL — At its Aug. 12 meeting, the Mokena village board approved new townhomes on Mokena's west side. The village said it has been meeting for more than a year about B.R. Bradford Company developing 20 one and two-story townhomes on 6.71 acres of land at Francis and Townline.

The final plat was approved Aug. 12, and mass grading of the development site should begin soon. The development will also contain a retention pond and parking for guests.

Pre-sales of the townhome units should begin in October, the village said.
