Village Offers Senior Savings With Fee Waiver
Registered senior residents recently received a refuse disposal fee waiver from the village government.
Mokena is offering fee discounts to senior residents who register their household with the village, according to a recent press release from the Village of Mokena.
All registered residents aged 65 and older received a refuse disposal fee waiver for the month of January.
Registered seniors also receive an $.86 monthly discount on refuse disposal fees year-round.

Seniors who are not registered with the village can register by filling out a registration form at Mokena Village Hall or calling 708-479-3900 and requesting a form in the mail.
A photocopy of a current driver’s license is required to register.
