Vote For Movie Choices For October Drive-In Series: Park District

MOKENA, IL — The Mokena Community Park District will celebrate the fall season with a Halloween drive-in movie series. The park district is asking residents to vote on their favorite movies to help choose what will be shown at the events.

Three of the movie nights will be family-friendly, so residents can choose their three favorite movies out of: "Hocus Pocus," "The Addams Family," "Casper," "Hotel Translyvania," "Goosebumps," and "The Haunted Mansion."

There will also be a PG-13 night on Oct. 16. You can vote for one favorite out of: "Men In Black International," "Jurassic Park," and "The Mummy."

According to the park district event page, the movies will be held Oct. 9, Oct. 10, Oct. 16 and Oct. 23 from 7:15 to 10 p.m. at The Oaks Recreation and Fitness Center parking lot. It is $10 per vehicle, and check-in starts at 6:15 p.m.

Resident registration will open Sept. 4.
