12th Annual ROVER RESCUE PET DOG SHOW

A fundraiser for animal rescue. Pet dog show, competition and adoption for the whole family

Don’t Miss the Favorite Competition of Furry Champions Fox Valley, IL – Is your dog the most cute, adorable and talented canine around? Come flaunt his furry good looks and amazing skills at the 12th Annual Rover Rescue Pet Dog Show! Great fun for the entire family, the event is being held Saturday, May 9th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Aurora Turners Club at 1335 Mitchell Road in Aurora. Whether your dog is big, small, furry or hairless, he’ll enjoy competing in the wide variety of show categories. He can put his best paw forward in Bobbin’ for Dogs and Sherlock “Bones,” strut his stuff in the Best Trick and show off his most adorable features in Ears to You! There are events especially for kids, too. Mixed breeds and purebred dogs are all welcome to enter. While you’re at the show, you can explore the amazing selection of prizes at the silent auction and the quarter and dollar raffles, deck your furry friend out with fun pet merchandise from the Rover table, show off your dog’s toothy grin with a professional pet portrait and try your hand at winning the cash raffle with a first prize of $300. Best of all, many of Rover Rescue’s adoptable dogs and puppies will be at the show, eager to wag their tails and share kisses with you! All proceeds benefit our homeless dogs, saved from high-kill shelters and fostered in a network of private homes until they find their “forever” homes. Entry forms for the 12th Annual Rover Rescue Pet Dog Show are available by calling 630.897.7454 or on the website at RoverRescue.org. Each $10 entry includes four categories; additional categories are $1 each before May 7th or $3 each the day of the show. (People are admitted free!) All show entries must be received by May 7th. For more information, go online to RoverRescue.org or call Rover Rescue at 630.897.7454. Rover Rescue is a not-for-profit, all-volunteer dog rescue group based in the Fox Valley area. Using a network of foster homes, the group takes in dogs that have run out of time at high-kill shelters. In less than 12 years, the group has found new homes for more than 6,700 dogs and puppies. And many more wait to be rescued!
