2 Men Arrested in Nearly Year-Old Montgomery Home Burglary

They allegedly burglarized a home Dec. 21, 2015.

MONTGOMERY, IL — Two Aurora men were arrested Oct. 26 in connection to a nearly year-old residential burglary.

On December 21, 2015, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies took a report and began an investigation into a residential burglary in the 200 block of Fernwood Road in Montgomery. The complainant reported that two people entered the residence without authority and removed their property.

Detectives continued the investigation and on Oct. 26, 2016, the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office charged Alfonso Nino, a 21-year-old Aurora man, with one count of residential burglary. Niño’s bond was set at $50,000 with ten percent to apply.

Nino was taken into custody on Oct. 26 by the Aurora Police Department and transported to the Kendall County Jail where he remains in custody.

Jose Arzate, a 19-year-old Aurora man, was also charged by the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office with one count of residential burglary. Arzate’s bond was set at $50,000 with ten percent to apply. On Nov. 7, Arzate turned himself in and remains in custody at the Kendall County Jail.
