2015 Women's Fair

State Senator Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and Representative Natalie Manley will be holding a Women’s Fair this month.

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 29, at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road., in Romeoville.

“The goal of this event is to bring small local businesses and nonprofit organizations to one location so they can showcase the products and services available to women in our community,” Bertino-Tarrant said. “I would like to thank all participating organizations and Representative Manley for working with me to make the Women’s Fair possible.”

Representatives for over 50 organizations will be at the Women’s Fair. For a list of who will be at the event, please view the attached flyer.

“Enhancing the role of women in our society has been a top priority for me throughout my life as well as during my time in office. Co-hosting this event is just one of the many ways that I am working to do so,” said Manley. “Those who attend will have access to important resources that are aimed toward empowering women to achieve their individual goals. It will be time well spent and an opportunity to think about ourselves; where we are currently and where we want to be, both personally and professionally.”
