2nd Annual Clothing Swap
This is going to be a fun time! Bring friends and start cleaning out your closet! Go!

On Saturday, August 22nd from 11:15 a.m. – 3 p.m., women of all shapes, sizes, and styles are welcome to bring their gently used items to the WAR Chest Boutique Clothing Swap. By attending this free event, you can find a new outfit for yourself.
The one-of-a-kind jewelry and gifts throughout the WAR Chest Boutique (4 E. Jefferson Ave., Naperville) are created by and sold in support of at-risk women in the United States and abroad. The Clothing Swap is an opportunity to shop with a purpose and empower women—as well as clean out your closet and create a new look!
Swap Rules:
*For every 1 item your bring, you can take 1 item.
*Do not bring stained or ripped items. Gently used items ONLY!
*NO Children’s clothing or accessories please.
*After the swapping and shopping, any remaining clothing will be donated.
Timeline of Clothing Swap
11:00am-11:45am- Check In and Appetizers/Beverages (BYOB if you prefer adult drinks:), Browsing
11:45am- Clothing Swap Shopping Starts!
1:00pm- Presenter - TBD
3:00pm- Last Check Out
How Does It Work?
‘Check In’ means that we are going to go through your items that you bring and make sure there are no stains, children’s items or jewelry. For every usable piece of clothing, you will receive a ticket (this is your play money!). When you have shopped through all the clothing and selected the ones you want- you will ‘Check Out’. This means that you will use the tickets that you were originally given to ‘purchase’ the clothing. No money is exchanged for clothing that is part of the clothing swap (excludes all WAR Chest Merchandise).
We need 45 minutes in the beginning to organize all the clothing nicely and logically- so the sooner you arrive- the more time you have to browse, eat and drink, and even stop by the Washington Street Market happening directly across the street that day!
