3-Year-Old Found Crossing Street Alone: Kendall County Sheriff
The incident was reported to DCFS.

MONTGOMERY, IL — A DCFS investigation is underway after Kendall County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a 3-year-old crossing the street alone. Police said the toddler was seen crossing the street unsupervised in the 0-99 block of Hampton Road at around 4:48 p.m. Monday in unincorporated Montgomery.
Police were able to locate the child's mother, who resides in the 0-99 block of Spring Garden Road.

The incident was the second in less than a week in which a toddler got reportedly dangerously close to traffic. On Thursday, an 18-month-old was saved by a Good Samaritan after crawling through a hole in a fenceoutside a Douglas Road daycare.
