The Student Senate at Boulder Hill recently held its fifth annual Caps for Kids fundraiser. Students who wanted to wear a cap/hat to school for the day could donate $1 for this worthwhile cause.
The fundraiser accepts donations to purchase caps for children who have lost their hair to illnesses or treatments which are then autographed by their celebrity hero. In addition to wearing caps to school, the students could purchase raffle tickets to bring in the hats that Principal Jeffrey Schafermeyer, Assistant Principal Kathleen Dineen, and Building Engineer Dale Lackey would wear on that day.
The school was able to collect $400 for this organization.
