Aurora Juveniles Charged in Home, Vehicle Burglaries
Aurora Police say the investigation into all of the incidents is continuing and further charges have not been ruled out.

Three boys, two 15 years old and one 17 years old, have been charged in connection to recent vehicle and home burglaries in Aurora.
The boys have been charged as juveniles and are currently being held in the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center in St. Charles.
The three became suspects in the burglaries when one of the 15 year old boys and the 17 year old were arrested at about 5 p.m., June 29, after a shots-fired call in the area of Galena Boulevard and Harrison Avenue. A firearm that had been reported stolen in a June 25 residential burglary in the 2300 block of Goldenrod Court was located in the vehicle in which the two were riding. Upon further investigation, police searched the bedroom of the 17 year old and located numerous items that were reported stolen in vehicle burglaries that occurred in and around the Golden Oaks Subdivision between June 13 and 15 as well as items from a June 29 home burglary in the 200 block of North Buell Avenue.

The other 15 year old was taken into custody July 15 after he allegedly shot two of his friends on accident at a home in the 500 block of Howard Street.
All three teens have been charged with residential burglary in connection with the incident on Goldenrod Court. In addition, one of the 15 year old boys has been charged with five counts of burglary to a motor vehicle for the Golden Oaks incidents while the 17 year old has been charged with one count of possession of stolen property in connection to the vehicle burglaries and the home burglary on North Buell.
