Aurora Police Shoot at Men Who Pointed Gun at Them
Nobody was struck by a bullet and the men were taken into custody after a pursuit.

Aurora Police Department officers opened fire on two men after they pointed guns at the officers, according to a release from the Aurora Police Department.
The officers were working together in a two-person capacity when they observed a suspicious vehicle occupied by four men driving around the neighborhood. At some point, two men exited the vehicle and were walking between the houses near the intersection of Pearl St. and Parker Ave. As the officers approached this intersection, they saw the two men in the side yard of a house. They noticed that both men were in possession of handguns.
The officers stopped their vehicle and attempted to make contact with the two armed men, at which time both men raised their handguns and pointed them in the direction of the officers. One of the officers, fearing for his safety and the safety of his partner, discharged his duty weapon in the direction of the men. Both men took off running through yards with the officers pursuing them on foot. One of the men was apprehended a short distance from the location of where he was first seen. The other man was able to elude the officers.
