Aurora Woman Dies in Yorkville Crash: Police
37-year-old Aurora resident died in early morning, single-vehicle accident.
Icy road conditions may have contributed to a single-vehicle crash that killed an Aurora woman early Saturday in Yorvkille, police said.
Gloria Martinez, 37, reportedly lost control of her vehicle at around 2:50 a.m. near Galena Road and East Beecher Road, causing the car to flip several times, the Beacon-News reported.
Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which remains under investigation by Illinois State Police. Police told the Beacon that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
