Boy, 14, Struck By Montgomery Public Works Truck: Sheriff
The teen was struck near Boulder Hill Pass and Old Post Road early Wednesday.

MONTGOMERY, IL — A 14-year-old Montgomery boy was hospitalized early Wednesday after he was struck by a Village of Montgomery truck while riding his bicycle, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said. Police said the teen was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No citations were issued in the incident, according to police. The crash happened at around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Boulder Hill Pass and Old Post Road.
Montgomery Village Administrator Jeff Zoephel confirmed that it was a public works vehicle involved in the crash. He said the village is investigating the underlying cause of the crash, and it is not believed that the driver suffered any injuries.
