Christmas in the Barn (Adds a 1pm Gathering)

What a response! We completely filled the noon and 2pm “Christmas in a Barn” gatherings so we are now offering a 1pm. These are 45 minutes services of carols, hymns and the story of Jesus birth.

On Christmas Eve, Wheatland joins a history of churches that have worshipped on Christmas Eve at the Patterson’s Barn on Wolf Road about a 1/2 mile west of our Oswego campus. Anyone who participated in barn services with Oswego Prairie Church or Lord of Life Lutheran Church will feel a hint of nostalgia from this special venue.

The Barn Services are limited due to the size of the barn. This is a real barn with animals and hay. While we will be trying to offer some heat, please dress appropriately for the weather. We are asking if you are coming to the 1pm service to please park in the Brokaw Early Learning Center parking lot and follow the path. If you can’t make the services, please consider joining us for our candlelight services at either of our campuses. The seats aren’t limited in the evening but arriving early arrival will ensure you get a good seat.
