"Christmas in a Barn" adds a fourth Christmas Eve Experience

Returning to a simpler time during Christmas has connected with our community. Wheatland has added a fourth experience.

Thank You! We completely filled the 1pm service in less than 24 hours. In appreciation, we will add one final opportunity for you to experience “Christmas in a Barn.” These are 45 minutes services of carols, hymns and the story of Jesus birth.

On Christmas Eve, Wheatland joins a history of churches that have worshipped on Christmas Eve at the Patterson’s Barn on Wolf Road about a 1/2 mile west of our Oswego campus. Anyone who participated in barn services with Oswego Prairie Church or Lord of Life Lutheran Church will feel a hint of nostalgia from this special venue.

The Barn Services are limited due to the size of the barn. This is a real barn with animals and hay. While we will be trying to offer some heat, please dress appropriately for the weather. We are asking if you are coming to the 1pm and 3pm services to please park in the Brokaw Early Learning Center parking lot and follow the path. If you want to go, reserve your seat soon at www.wheatlandsalem.org .

If you can’t make the services, please consider joining us for our six other candlelight services at one of our campuses. The seats aren’t limited in the evening but arriving early arrival will ensure you get a good seat.
