Eat pancakes, shop for Christmas

A holiday gift sale and pancake breakfast will be held from 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 5, at Fourth Street United Methodist Church, 551 S. Fourth St. in Aurora.

The annual fundraiser by United Methodist Women will benefit UMW mission projects.

The public is invited said Rev. Deborah Tinsley Taylor, church pastor. Admission and parking are free.

In addition to 30 handmade gift baskets, holiday crafts, jewelry and homemade cookies and candies will be offered.

The event opens with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. The menu includes pancakes, sausages, orange juice, milk and coffee. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children to age nine and $15 for a family of four.
