West Aurora Poms Team to Hold Food Drive

The West Aurora Poms Team and the Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry will hold a food drive during the Oct. 21 home football game.

Attendees can bring non-perishable food items to the game for donation.

The most-needed items include generic, Enfamil or Similac baby formula; canned fruits and vegetables; oil; sugar; peanut butter and jelly; rice; dry pasta; syrup; pancake mix; spaghetti sauce; macaroni and cheese; canned soups; canned or dry beans; and canned tuna and chicken.

Donations should be unopened and within "use by," "sell by," or "best by" dates.

Size four, five and six diapers will also be collected.
