Aurora University's 2013-2014 film series will screen "America's Music: Broadway and Tin Pan Alley," with a discussion and live music, at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, at Perry Theatre in Stephens Hall, 349 S. Gladstone Ave. in Aurora.
The second of six America’s Music documentaries, "Broadway..." explores the 100-year history of musical theater and the story of its relationship to 20th-century American life.

The America’s Music series will continue with "America's Music: Swing Jazz," Feb. 10; "America's Music: Country and Bluegrass,” Feb. 24; "America's Music: Rock," March 10; and "America's Music: Latin Rhythms from Mambo to Hip Hop,” March 24.
The public is invited. Admission is free but registration is required.
