Fox Valley Youth Orchestras Holiday Concert

On Sunday, December 6th, at 1:00pm, the Fox Valley Academy of Music Performance will perform light classics and holiday carols. The Academy’s Academy Orchestra will present movements from Haydn’s “Surprise” Symphony No. 94, while the Youth Strings Orchestra and the Access To Music Ensemble will delight the audience with memorable classical favorites and Christmas carol sing-alongs.

Admission to the concert is free. Donations are welcomed. The concert will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 420 West Downer Place, Aurora (Parking is behind the church on Garfield Ave). The Fox Valley Academy of Music Performance is the umbrella organization for the Fox Valley Philharmonic Orchestra. The Philharmonic will present a “Sing-Along” Messiah concert at a 3:00pm concert.

Both concerts are partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
