Kendall County Blotter: Hit and Run, Cannabis, Residential Burglary

Someone damaged three 7-foot fence boards and a 3-foot section of concrete top cap of the gated facility at Illinois American Cater, 1317 Route 31 in unincorporated Kendall County, sheriff’s police said. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $25, according to police.

Kendall County Sheriff’s police responded to a report of a residential burglary and theft in the 0-100 block of Chatham Place in Montgomery, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

Kendall County Sheriff’s police responded to a hit and run at Route 126 and Grove Road in Na-Au-Say Township at 10:20 a.m. A driver reported that a brown, older-model four-door vehicle heading north on Grove Road hit the driver’s side and rear bumper are of her vehicle, then proceeded north on Grove Road, police said.

Lauren Castrejon, 22, of the 0-100 block of Whitney Way, Montgomery, was arrested at Douglas Road and Longbeach after being stopped for allegedly speeding. According to police, during the stop, it was determined that Castrejon was driving on a suspended license, and was in possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis and two items of drug paraphernalia.
