Kendall County Blotter: Woman Falls Victim to Craigslist Scam
Victim was bilked out of $1,000 after responding to an ad for a house for rent, police said.

Larry A. Valyou, 39, of the 200 block of Morgan Valley Drive, was arrested by Oswego police on a charge of domestic battery, police said.

Matthew Bednarkiewicz, 19, of the 2400 block of Twin Fountain Court, Plainfield, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of 50-500 grams of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Kendall County Sheriff’s police. Police said Bednarkiewicz was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for an equipment violation at 1:22 p.m. at Route 31 and Boat Lane, according to police.
