Kendall County Deputies Rescue Man After Van Plunges into River
A medical issue may have caused 40-year-old driver to lose control of van, police said.

Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies braved the frigid temperatures of the Fox River to rescue an Oswego man after a van plunged into the water on Thursday, police said.
Deputy Bryan Harl said police and firefighters responded after a Pontiac van left the roadway in the 60 block of Marina Drive, going into the river at round 6:47 p.m.
The driver, a 40-year-old Oswego resident, was rescued and taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Harl said the man may have been suffering from a medical issue at the time of the incident.
