The failure of the state in establishing a budget has a local impact on our community services. The continued failure to appropriate spending on these vital services hurts everyone, not just the poor, the sick and otherwise distressed. It hurts employers. It hurts employees. It hurts our youth, young adults and the elderly. Action must occur to ensure these community services are sustained.
