Kendall County Man Sentenced in Child Sex Assault
Robert Harrison pleaded guilty to assaulting a child over a period of several years.

A Yorkville man was sentenced this week to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a child.
Robert Harrison, 34, of the 600 block of Bristol Road, must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, the Beacon-News reported.
Harrison admitted to sexually assaulting a child he knew over a period of several years. He was arrested after the child revealed told a school social worker about the abuse, according to the Beacon.

In addition to his sentence, Harrison will also have to register as sex offender and child sexual predator for the rest of his life.
