Kendall Police Warn of Child-Luring Attempt

Juvenile was approached by man in Boulder Hill.

Kendall County Sheriff’s Police are warning residents, particularly those in the Boulder Hill area, to be wary after an alleged attempted child luring.

Police said an 11-year-old juvenile was on foot when he was approached by a man in a blue Dodge Caravan at around 8:30 a.m. Monday in the area of Saugatuck Road and Circle East Drive.

Police said the man, described as a white male approximately 30 to 40 years old with brown hair, asked the juvenile if he would like a ride, and the juvenile said no. THe man then drove away, according to police.

Police said the Dodge Caravan reportedly had the license plate Illinois 5124647.

Police said it appears to be an isolated incident, and no similar reports have been filed.
