March 16

John Conway, 18, of Montgomery, was arrested for DUI after police stopped his vehicle for not having a license plate light near Gordon and Kennedy around 1:15 a.m. He was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol.

Sorayda Alvarado, 23, of Aurora, was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license after police stopped her vehicle for having only one headlight in the 1400 block of Montgomery Road around 12:15 a.m. Juan Alvarado, 44, of the same address, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested on a failure-to-appear DUI warrant issued by the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department.

Aileen Trujilla, 27, of Yorkville, was arrested around 6:10 p.m. for endangering the life/health of a child after she allegedly left a 2-year-old child in an unattended vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Orchard road for 50 minutes.

March 14

Socorro Salinas-Zepeda, 27, of Aurora, was arrested for driving with suspended registration and no valid insurance after a license plate check determined that the plates were suspended near Howell and Montgomery Road around 5:20 p.m.

Fernando Vazquez, 30, of Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended, after police stopped his vehicle near Douglas and Seasons Ridge around 9:55 p.m. because he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

Geraldine Genslinger, 26, of Aurora, was arrested for aggravated DUI after police stopped her vehicle for improper lane usage near Montgomery Road and Hinckley around 2:25 a.m. She was also charged with no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol; driving while license suspended; felony aggravated DUI-no valid driver’s license and felony aggravated DUI-no insurance.

Christopher Bice, 21, of Aurora, was arrested for driving with a suspended license after police stopped his vehicle for disobeying a traffic control device near Orchard and Knell around 8:50 a.m.

Leticia Robledo, 47, of Aurora, was arrested for not having a valid driver’s license after police stopped her vehicle near Douglas and Seasons Ridge Blvd. because she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt around 9:30 p.m.

March 12

Brenda Kelleher, 44, of the 2100 block of Kathleen Circle, Montgomery, was arrested for driving with a revoked license after police stopped her vehicle around 9:10 a.m. near Route 30 and Route 31 for disobeying a traffic control device.

Two juveniles were arrested for entering an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the 2300 block of Mayfield and stealing a wallet around 12:25 p.m. The suspects fled the area on foot and were taken into custody not far from the crime scene. One 15-year-old juvenile from Montgomery was detained by an off-duty Aurora police office. The second suspect, a 16-year-old from Oswego, was found hiding in the backyard of a residence on Amsterdam Circle.
