Letter: CASA Kendall County Receives $5,600 Grant

Contribution received from Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley.

We are writing to express CASA Kendall County’s tremendous gratitude to the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, for its recent $5,600 grant contribution.

CASA Kendall County is a non-profit organization that recruits, trains and supports volunteers who advocate in the courtroom, for abused and neglected children. The sole mission of these volunteers, is to clear a child’s path out of the complex, overburdened child welfare system and into a safe, permanent home.

Behind every CASA volunteer who lifts up the voice and life of an abused or neglected child, stands a compassionate donor like the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley. With the foundation’s much-needed support, CASA Kendall County was able to purchase two new computers and donor software. These invaluable tools and resources will help us expand our training for the dedicated volunteers who work on the front lines for children. Additionally, the software will allow us for the first time, to create a donor database, so we can efficiently communicate with those who support our mission.
