Man Killed in Kendall County Crash

A Plano man was killed Tuesday morning in a head-on crash in unincorporated Newark, police said.

Raymond Boudreau Jr., 56, was pronounced dead on the scene of the two-car crash on Fox River Drive after his Chevrolet pickup crossed over into the northbound lane near Crimmins Road and struck a Chevrolet Avalanche head-on, police said.

The driver of the Avalanche, 48-year-old Susan Smith of MIllington, was taken to Valley West Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Kendall County police.

Fox River Drive at Crimmins Road was closed for several hours following the crash, which occurred at around 6:18 a.m., police said.
