Mom Left Kids in Car to Get Eyebrows Done: Montgomery Blotter

Arrests occurred between April 9 and April 17.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.


April 9

Ismael Alvarado, 37, of the 1200 block of State Street in Aurora, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance after his vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. Alvarado was also issued citations for driving while license revoked and fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer.

April 12

Resident reported someone entered his unlocked Toyota Corolla and stole a GPS and a hammer drill from inside his vehicle.

April 13

Tyrone Jackson, 43, of the 600 block of S. River Street in Aurora, was arrested for retail theft after he was observed by a manager concealing three bottles of alcohol in his jacket.

April 15

Shyanna Simpson, 23, of the 600 block of Madison Street in Oswego, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant for DUI out of DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

April 16

Resident reported someone punctured her two front tires on her 2003 Pontiac Aztec which was parked in the 1300 block of Howell Place.

Jenna Brewer, 26, of the 2300 block of Prairie Street in Aurora, was arrested for endangering life/health of a child after she left her two small children in her vehicle while she went into a business to get her eyebrows done. Brewer also had two warrants out for her arrest for driving while license suspended and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Kenlan Burt, 45, of the 100 block of SpringBrook Trail in Oswego, was arrested for driving while license suspended after his vehicle was stopped for no front registration plate. Burt also had a warrant out of DuPage County Sheriff’s Office for contempt of court.

April 17

Filimon Lopez, 25, of the 1000 block of Douglas Road, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license revoked after police stopped his vehicle for parking in a handicap parking spot without a handicap placard. Lopez also had a warrant out of Aurora PD for knowingly damage property.

Henry Moses, 27, of the 1700 block of Walnut Park Lane, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license suspended after police stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation.
