Montgomery Blotter: Gun Stolen During Burglary; Teen Charged with Driving 70 in 30 MPH Zone
Arrests, incidents reported by Montgomery police.

Dec. 10
Heather Willie, of the 500 block of Clearwater Lane, Oswego, was arrested at a business in the 200 block of Orchard Road and charged with retail theft after she allegedly took merchandise and left the store without paying, police said.
Adam Capet, 26, of the 100 block of Dolores Street, Oswego, was arrested at a business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road and charged with retail theft after allegedly leaving the store without paying for $189 in merchandise, police said.

Jesus Chavez, 19, of the 500 block of Oakland Street, Montgomery, was arrested and charged with driving 35 mph or more over the limit after allegedly driving a vehicle at 70 mph in a 30 mph zone near Montgomery and Sycamore, police said.

Someone slashed two tires on a 2003 Hyundai Elantra in the 2300 block of of Thunder Gulch, police said.

Darrel Nolan, 53, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the 1500 block of Douglas Road after police located a controlled substance while searching his property after a traffic stop for driving on a suspended license, polcie said.
Someone cut a strand of Christmas lights in the 2400 block of White Rose, police said.
Dec. 13
Sandra Vargas, 24, of the 600 block of May Street, Aurora, was arrested at Route 30 and Route 31 and charged with DUI after police stopped her vehicle for allegedly making an unsafe turn, police said.
Someone caused $50 in damage to a mailbox in the 2900 block of Gloria Court, police said.
A Glock pistol valued at $535 was stolen during a residential burglary in the 100 block of Route 31, police said.
