Montgomery Police Will Haunt Impaired Drivers This Halloween
Montgomery Police Department is cracking down on impaired driving, including this Halloween as kids will be out on the roadways.

MONTGOMERY, IL — The Montgomery Police Department is reminding motorists how dangerous impaired driving is, especially as Halloween trick-or-treating brings little children out into the neighborhoods and busy streets. MPD said those who plant to celebrate Halloween should remember the warning, "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over."
“If you know you’re partying this Halloween, make sure you designate a sober driver to get you home safely,” Deputy Chief Armando Sanders said, in a release sent to Patch. “Don’t put yourself, or others, at risk by driving impaired by alcohol or drugs."
According to MPD, hundreds die in impaired-driving crashes every year across Illinois, while others face jail time, loss of license, and spend thousands of dollars on attorney’s fees, fines and lost wages.
