The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners are seeking individuals with a high degree of personal and professional integrity to participate in a testing process to establish an Eligibility List of candidates for full-time police officer positions for the Village of Montgomery. The tests for placement on the list include the Illinois POWER test and a written exam.
The test will take place on Sunday, Sept. 7, at Yorkville Middle School, 920 Prairie Crossing Dr. in Yorkville.

Anyone interested in testing to be on the Village of Montgomery’s Police Officer Eligibility List, visit www.ci.montgomery.il.us and carefully read the 2014 Police Officer Testing Packet.
Police officers are responsible for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals, and the enforcement of laws and ordinances. To apply, fill out the Police Officer Application Form and Test Registration and return a hard copy to the Police Department (10 Civic Center Drive) or Village Hall (200 North River Street) with a $35 non-refundable application fee. Applications must be received by Friday, August 15, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. or you will be considered ineligible to participate in the testing process.
