A new way to pay for college
KYEP can now offer funding to youth to pay for college classes.

New financial aid has just become available through the Kendall Youth Employment Program (KYEP). The purpose of the aid is to provide training for jobs that are in demand.
The aid could either be used to finish the last semester of many degrees and certificates at Waubonsee Community College (WCC) or for short-term certificates like Certified Nursing Assistant; Phlebotomy Technician Certificate; Pharmacy Technician; Dental Assistant; Forklift Driver Training; Automotive Recycling Certificate; or Food Safety Certificate.
To receive funding for classes, youth must:

- meet requirement to be in KYEP (which are described at http://roe24.org/files/5614/1659/8149/Funding_for_WCC_classes.pdf)
- attend job search skills training and other appropriate training at KYEP
- have qualification and ability to be successful in classes
