Police Blotter: Alleged Thief Caught By Store Employee After Losing Flip-Flop
Man tried to flee after stealing a pack of cigarettes, police said.

Sept. 6
Kristina Lee, 28, of the 1200 block of Grand Boulevard, Romeoville, and Stefani Harper, 35, of the 2800 block of Adam Avenue, Montgomery, were arrested by Oswego police at Kohl’s, 2500 Route 34, and charged with retail theft, police said.

Scott D. Goins, 47, of the 2400 block of Prairie Crossing, Montgomery, was arrested in the 100 block of Tyler, Oswego, and charged with criminal damage to property, police said.

Robin Pomazal, 55, of the 200 block of Isleview, Oswego, was arrested by Oswego police and charged with domestic battery and resisting arrest, police said.

Keon D. Dantzler, 20, of the 200 block of Foster Lane, Oswego, was arrested by Oswego police at Heritage and Newport Circle and charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Matthew Craig Duvall, 32, of the 40 block of Afton Drive, Montgomery, was arrested by Oswego police at 7-Eleven, 2 E. Merchants Dr., and charged with retail theft, police said. Police responded to the store at 6:13 a.m. after Duvall allegedly stole a pack of cigarettes and ran from the business, according to police reports. Police said an employee chased Duvall and caught him after Duvall “stopped to pick up his ‘flip flop’ that fell off his foot.” The employee held Duvall until police arrived. Police added: “We do not recommend citizens chase suspects, considering weapons may be involved and someone could get hurt. Glad this resulted in no injuries to either party.” Duvall was released on his own recognizance and is due in Kendall County Court Sept. 24, according to police reports.
