Police Blotter: Woman Battered by Friend; Marijuana, Battery Arrests

Aug. 19
Rickey Johnson, 33, of the 7400 block of 55th Place, Summit, was arrested by Oswego police in the 0-100 block of Grant on charges of obstructing identification, driving on a revoked license and a Will County warrant, police said.
Dustin Schmidt, 20, of the 0-100 block of Circle Drive East, unincorporated Montgomery, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police and charged with domestic battery and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, police said.

Kendall County Sheriff’s police are investigating an alleged battery. A 35-year-old Oswego woman told police she was walking with a friend in the area of Augusta Lake Park, 116 Augusta Rd., when an argument ensued, resulting in the woman being battered by the friend, police said.

Alyssa Faulkner, 20, of the 2900 block of Carlsbad, Aurora, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s police at Route 34 and Cherry Road and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Faulkner was also cited for speeding and driving an uninsured vehicle, according to police reports.
