Police Hosts Strikes for Special Olympics

Bowling fundraiser will include special edition Harley-Davidson raffle, 50/50 and more.

The Oswego Police Department and Parkside Lanes, 34w185 Montgomery Road in Aurora, will host a fundraiser for Special Olympics Illinois on Sunday, March 15.

The event includes three games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and soda for each lane, police said.

The cost is $25 per person, and all profits go to Special Olympics Illinois. Registration begins at noon, followed by bowling at 1 p.m.

Police will be selling Torch Run merchandise and tickets for a chance to win the 2015 Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics edition Harley-Davidson motorcycle. There will also be a cash bar, regular menu items and a 50/50 raffle.
