IDOT is scheduled to install temporary pavement along Route 71 though Oswego on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 25 and 26, weather permitting, the village announced. Motorists are advised to avoid Route 71 on both days, as there will be significant delays each day. Consider alternate routes such as US 34 and IL 126. If you cannot avoid the area, allow extra travel time, the village advised motorists.
