Rover Rescue Dog of the Week

Who was Fred without Ginger?  Would Lucy have been successful without Desi?  What is it about Fred and Wilma?  My name is SONNY and I am missing my sidekick!  Actually, I am not just looking for a short term partner, but a permanent, loving home.   I have been told that I would be the perfect addition to almost any family.  I am a happy go-lucky guy!  Back in the high kill shelter in Southern Indiana, I was the stray known as the “all American dog”.   No, I am not a hot dog, but a 2 year old canine that seems to be a mix of many breeds.   But whatever the blend, it suits me well!   I weigh a healthy 35 pounds and am a perfect mid-size dog.  Now that I am with Rover Rescue, I am a well-adjusted, go with the flow, doesn’t let much bother me kind of dog.  I would love to have a partner in crime (think Bonnie and Clyde but with fur) at your house.  Not only do I get along with other dogs, but I do well with the kitties, too.  I would also be content being an only fur child.  I am housetrained and crate trained.  My foster family thinks that I am a quiet and gentle little sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be loved.  If you think we could make a dynamic duo, please call Teri at 630-897-7454.  Sonny’s Video Debut:  http://youtu.be/ui0UsIhgwvw
