Several Cases Of Retail Theft In Montgomery: Police

MONTGOMERY, IL —

Tuesday, Aug. 28

Traffic arrest

Montgomery police said Fernando Delao-Aguirre, 56, of the 600 block of Aurora Avenue, was arrested and cited at 11:50 a.m., Aug. 28 for not having a valid driver's license and for operating a motor vehicle with expired registration while driving on Route 30 and Orchard Road. He posted the required bond on-scene and was released with a pending court date at the Kendall County Courthouse.

Traffic arrest

Montgomery police said Dajuan Lacking, 34, of the 400 block of Plum Street, was arrested and cited at 1:34 p.m., Aug. 28 for driving while license suspended and for speeding in the 800 block of Montgomery Road. He posted the required bond on the scene of the traffic stop and was released with a pending court date at the Aurora Branch Court.

Retail theft

Brent Kelley, 38, of the 1700 block of Hazelnut Lane, was arrested and charged with two counts of felony retail theft at 2:36 p.m., Aug. 28, according to Montgomery police. Police said it's reported he stole some merchandise from a business in the 1200 block of Ogden Ave. One charge stemmed from prior retail theft convictions and one charge stemmed from the amount taken during this incident. He was booked and processed at Montgomery Police Department and released into the custody of the Kendall County Jail to await bond call.

Montgomery police said Delilah M. McDonald, 24, of the 400 block of Sherman Avenue, was arrested and cited with a single count of retail theft at 3:31 p.m., Aug. 28, after it was alleged that she stole items from a business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road. She posted the required bond on-scene and was released with a pending court date at the Kendall County Courthouse.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

Domestic battery

Montgomery police said Benjamin Alvarado, 26, of the 200 block of Parker Court, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 3:32 a.m,, Aug. 29, after it was alleged that he struck a family member during an argument at the same location. He was booked and processed at Montgomery Police Department and was transported to Kane County Courthouse for bond call.

Friday, Sept. 1

Retail theft

Montgomery police said Joshua Baker, 21, of the 400 Block of West New York Street, Aurora, was charged with retail theft after it was reported that he took merchandise offered for sale and left the business in the 2000 block of Orchard Rdwithout paying for the merchandise at 7:52 p.m. He was released with a pending court date in Aurora.

Brenda Hernandez Mino, 21, 400 Block of Penn Ave of Aurora was charged with retail theft after it was reported that they took merchandise offered for sale and left the business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road without paying for the merchandise at 7:52 p.m., Montgomery police said. Brenda was released with a pending court date in Aurora.
