Several Vehicle Burglaries in Kendall County

Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information to come forward.

Several vehicle burglaries were reported over the past few days and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to come forward.

The burglaries occurred in the early morning hours of July 2 in the Fox Lawn subdivision in Yorkville and the Boulder Hill subdivision in Montgomery. Burglaries have also occurred in the early morning hours of July 6 in the Rosehill and Fields of Farm Colony subdivisions in Yorkville. Unlocked vehicles were targeted by the thieves.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles and immediately report any suspicious activity they witness by calling 9-1-1. When reporting suspicious activity, please attempt to obtain the license plate numbers of any vehicles involved as well as clothing descriptions of any subjects involved.
